A few updates for you ...................

Member of the Month

Our new competition, well not competition as such, but a way of nominating, voting and rewarding our members on their participation at Phoenixarcade.

When you next log-in take a look at the information on MotM in the Phoenix Control Centre, nominations are open now, all you need to do is to nominate 1 maximum of 2 members) who you feel are worthy of the accolade of Member of the Month for March, then send a pm to Ros58, nominations will close on Sunday March 14th at midnight (GMT) and a poll of nominees will open on March 15th and will close on March 31st

The member polling the most votes will be declared the winner, prizes include choosing the weekly challenge games for the site during their "month", a special MotM award and signature will be added to their profile, their own category in the arcade where they can choose 10 games to be moved there for all members to play, being moved to our new MotM user group which will allow access to games including VIP with no daily allowance.

Announcements will be made when each month's nominations and voting polls are open and their respective closing dates.

All MotM awards will be awarded in arrears that is, the MotM for March will be awarded in the month of April, the April award will be for the month of May and so on.


Team Games

Wow, hasn't this taken off, well done to all our teams and members taking part, it's certainly been some cause for friendly banter both in the forums and shoutbox! If anyone would like to join in and create a team, please do so, its fun.

Arcade and Games

Since upgrading the arcade to the new version, all is running smoothly, the major change is that members can now disable the viewing of their favourites and scores, thus targeting will become a thing of the past, which is good.

Can I just remind members please that a great deal of the error reports being generated by the auto-reporter are where members have clicked the back button or refreshed the screen when submitting a score, most of the reports are submitted even when a member has successfully submitted a score but has tried to speed the system up.

After todays installation of games we now have in excess of 7100 games and we're adding all the time
